We are delighted to announce the appointment of Aaron Binchy as our new Open Access Monitor Officer, effective from 1st September. Aaron has been working at IReL as Licensing Officer since 2017, and has been the interim project manager for the National Open Access Monitor since 2024. In this new role, he will oversee the further development and operation of the National Open Access Monitor, and provide coordination and support to Open Repositories Ireland (ORI), which is dedicated to supporting the development of repositories and repository staff.
