Since 2020, IReL has replaced most of its traditional journal subscription licenses with transformative OA agreements. The IReL Steering Group recognises that such agreements are transitional, and in a statement published today outlines:
- its requirements for new transformative agreements from 2024, and
- its longer term plans for ending such agreements
